This is the cash program. It’s separate from the refer-a-friend perk baked into every account (that one saves you and a friend 20% each) — the two don’t overlap, and the FAQ below spells out which is which.

What’s the commission, exactly?

A fixed dollar amount per referral per month, set by the plan they’re on — “20% for life,” published as flat numbers so you can verify every payout at a glance:

How does the affiliate program work?

Four steps, start to payout:

1. Apply and get approved. Apply on the partner page — tell us who your audience is and how you’ll share Stack Space. We review every application by hand, then your referral link goes live in your dashboard under Affiliate program.
2. Share your link. It looks like stackspacesolutions.com/r/your-code and tags anyone who clicks it for 30 days, so when they sign up — even weeks later — the referral is credited to you.
3. They subscribe, you earn. Commissions are calculated on the 1st of every month for every active referral, at the flat per-plan amounts above.
4. Get paid via Stripe. Connect payouts once (a two-minute Stripe onboarding inside the Affiliate page) and your commissions land in your bank account.

Who is the affiliate program for?

• Agencies and consultants who already tell clients what software to run — you were doing the referring for free.
• Customers who like the product — one plumber telling another about the receptionist that books jobs at 9 PM is the whole growth model, and we’d rather pay you than an ad network.
• Creators and community owners with an audience of local-business owners or agency operators.

If you’d rather own the client relationship and set your own retail price — billing clients on your Stripe under your brand — that’s the heavier white-label reseller program, not this one. The affiliate program is the lighter version: we run everything, you cash the check.

FAQ

Do I have to be a customer to be an affiliate? No — the partner program is open to anyone with the right audience (agencies, consultants, creators, community owners). Apply on the partner page; we review applications by hand, and once you’re approved your link lives inside a free Stack Space account. Being a customer helps you sell it, but it isn’t required.

Is this the same as the “Refer a friend” perk in my dashboard? No — they’re two separate programs. The refer-a-friend perk is for every subscriber, no application: refer another business and you both save 20% (your friend gets 20% off their first month, you get 20% off your next). How much can I earn per referral? A flat amount by plan, every month they stay: $3 (Launch), $18 (Starter), $40 (Professional), or $100 (Agency). An Agency referral is $1,200/year; there’s no cap and no cutoff while they remain a paying customer.

Why a flat amount instead of a percentage of the bill? So both sides can verify it. The flat figures are set at roughly 20% of each plan’s value, published up front — your payout never swings with usage, discounts, or plan proration, and you never need our books to check the math.

When and how do I get paid? Commissions are calculated monthly for every referral that paid that month and pay out through Stripe to your connected bank account. You can watch accrued and paid amounts on your Affiliate page.

How long does the referral tracking last? Your link tags the visitor for 30 days (last click wins), and the referral is credited when that visitor signs up. If someone you referred signs up without your link, we have no way to know they were yours — so send the link, not the homepage.

What happens to my commission if a referral cancels? Commissions apply only to months they actually paid. If they cancel, payments stop — there’s nothing to claw back and nothing owed either way.

Can I refer myself or my own second account? No — self-referrals and same-owner accounts don’t earn commission. Everything else is fair game.
