Thryv now publishes its prices: marketing plans at $99 (Starter) and $399 (Signature) a month, and Business Center, its CRM with booking and invoicing, at $185 a month plus a $250 onboarding fee. Its terms renew automatically unless you cancel at least 30 days before the period ends. The common alternatives cost less to start and run month to month: Jobber from $49 month to month ($29 billed annually), Housecall Pro from $79 ($59 billed annually), GoHighLevel from $97, and Stack Space from $30, which includes an AI receptionist. Below: Thryv’s published prices and terms, what owners complain about, and the alternatives side by side as of October 2026.

What does Thryv cost?

Thryv sells separate products, each with its own price page:

Product What it covers Published price
Marketing plans Listings, AI website builder, AI review management, trackable phone numbers; social media and a custom SEO website on Signature Starter $99/mo, Signature $399/mo, Custom by quote
Business Center CRM, calendar and appointments, estimates and invoices, payment processing, email marketing $185/mo plus “a one-time onboarding fee of $250”
Keap (owned by Thryv since 2024) Sales and marketing automation CRM From $299/mo with 2 users, plus a required implementation package

The pricing page has an “Annual, Save 15%” toggle without saying which setting the shown prices reflect, so ask whether your quote is monthly or annual. If you want the CRM side and the marketing side together, that’s two products: $185 plus $99 is $284 a month before onboarding.

Third-party sites still list older figures, such as Capterra’s “starting at $244” a month. Go by Thryv’s own pages.

What do Thryv’s terms say?

From Thryv’s terms for business customers, effective September 18, 2026:

  • It renews automatically. “Unless you cancel at least 30 days before the end of the current Subscription Period, annual Subscription Periods will automatically renew.” Shorter periods renew month to month.
  • Cancelling takes effect a period later. After the first three days, you give notice at least 30 days before the next period begins, and “Terminations will be effective upon the expiration of your next Subscription Period.”
  • No refunds after day three. You can cancel “within three (3) days of purchase” for a full refund; otherwise “no refunds will be provided.”
  • Promotions end. Discounted pricing “will automatically revert to the standard terms and then-current retail rates.”
  • Prices can rise at renewal with “at least 30 days’ notice.”

The length of your term is set on your order, not in the terms, so read your order form before you sign and put the notice date in your calendar.

Why do owners look for a Thryv alternative?

Thryv’s ratings split sharply by site. On Trustpilot, it scores 2.6 out of 5 from 443 reviews: 58% one-star and 33% five-star. Of the ten one-star reviews on the first page in October 2026, eight described trouble cancelling, and most also disputed charges. The five-star reviews mostly praise the onboarding staff. Software review sites that survey active users rate it higher, so read a range before deciding.

The other reasons are structural: the CRM and the marketing tools are priced separately, Business Center charges onboarding, and cancelling takes a full period’s notice. Thryv’s site doesn’t list an AI receptionist, so phone answering is another tool.

Which one should you pick?

Jobber or Housecall Pro if you run a field-service business with crews: quoting, scheduling, dispatch and invoicing are what they’re built for, both run month to month, and both now sell an AI receptionist add-on.

GoHighLevel if you, or your agency, want the marketing side Thryv sells (sites, funnels, review requests, campaigns) in one platform and don’t mind setting it up yourself. See our GoHighLevel pricing breakdown.

HubSpot if your sales process is the priority and you’ll grow into a larger CRM.

Stack Space if the leak is the phone and the follow-up. It’s a CRM with the AI receptionist built in: the receptionist Stax trains answers your line 24/7 within your plan’s minutes and books onto the calendar built into Stack Space (Outlook sync available), and the same record sends the estimate, then the invoice when the job’s done, and asks for a review. Plans are $30 (45 minutes, about 11 to 22 calls), $125 (250 minutes) and $355 (900 minutes); past your minutes you buy prepaid packs that never expire, and nothing bills beyond your plan. You pay monthly with no contract or onboarding fee and cancel in the app; there’s no free trial. What we don’t have: listings management across directories, Thryv’s done-for-you onboarding team, or a field-service dispatch board.

How to leave Thryv cleanly

Expect to pay through the next subscription period after your notice: that’s when Thryv’s terms say a cancellation takes effect.

  1. Find your order form and note the subscription period and its end date.
  2. Send written notice at least 30 days before the next period begins. Thryv’s terms say cancellation goes through its contact page with your business name, phone and address; keep a copy and ask for written confirmation.
  3. Export your contacts, jobs and invoices before the account closes.
  4. Move your phone number or forwarding if Thryv provides a tracking number your customers use.
  5. Run the new tool alongside for a few weeks so bookings and payments don’t fall through the gap.
